In pursuit of increase the storage efficiency of the warehouses in East Africa, AWS is proud to have introduced the Aisle-Master in 2018 to the local market.
The Aisle Master is the most capable articulated electric narrow aisle truck in production at present, with lift heights up to 15.0m while operating in a narrow aisle such as 2.3 m wide.
AWS has successfully implemented more the 30 units since its inception. This reflects a market share of over 75% in the articulated segment due to outstanding equipment performance and after-sales service operations with rapid availability of spare parts.
A standard reach truck operation can be converted to and Aisle Master configuration to gain approximately 20~25% additional storage capacity. AWS has currently retrofitted some warehouses while introduced this concept to green-field project in the region.
